Poetic Boho Chic

Hey guys as some of you know I started my website  as a “personal blog” back in 2013 which veritably had some hard knocks with the consistency of publishing posts. However, here I am 4 years later with a greater ambition and appetite to continue this odyssey as equivalent to the very beginning from when I first started. In conclusion, I have decided to take a change of direction. I will commit to a “Style Blog” featuring various looks directly from my very own wardrobe alongside thrifted items and mix matching cultures, eras, colors, contrast & patterns together pieces at a time.

For all my readers who have been around since day one, the current, very new ones and those who may have even stumble across my site, welcome & welcome back ❤  Moving forward, once each week l will publish a new post either Wednesdays or Thursdays for a new segment called “Thrifted Thursday”

Heres to a new start and many posts, cheers!

I purchase this two piece set at my local “Tarjé” aka Target lol! Walking through the aisle towards the beauty section, I came across this alluring boho chic detailed embroidered short sleeve cropped blouse and lightweight shorts by Xhilaration. Although the only size left was in a large, the fit was pretty loose but I could careless I embrace bagginess, I love that shit! lol What sold me was the airy finish material considering the summer creeping upon us.

In addition I added a printed blue & white kimono by Xhilaration™. The open-front cardigan adds a little bouncy whimsy yet flowy. Threw up my braids into a pony tail  using a scarf wrapped around inspired by Janet Jackson in the movie “Poetic Justice” to elevate the outfit.

My shoes are from Forever 21

The ring to the left was thrifted from a flea market as the ring to the right is actually a mood ring purchased from a trip I took to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mood rings are my favorite✨
